"Tolerance - Lessons of Holocaust" seminar has started in Almaty. Its participants are secondary school teachers from 15 regions of Kazakhstan. Lessons and lectures are presented by professionals from Kiev - Svetlana Kandeeva, Vyacheslav Lihachev, and Almaty - Zhulduzbek Abylhozhin, Isaac Greenberg, Gulnar Annakuleevna, Larissa Poltavskaya.

   According to the experience of European countries, including Ukraine, Byelorussia, and Russia, "Tolerance - Lessons of Holocaust" program helps to relax the tension between teenagers of different nationalities and promote interest to other people, their cultures, history and traditions. The aim of the seminar is to use the example of Holocaust to show teachers and their students how disastrous lack of tolerance can be.

   The seminar is presented by the Association of Jewish National Organizations of Kazakhstan "Mitsva", Euro-Asian Jewish Congress with the support of Assembly of Kazakhstani Nations and Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan.
