In mid autumn seven years running exhibition hall of Hesed Jewish welfare organization has been a place of meeting of admirers of Uriy Shneiderman's watercolor paintings. Uriy Samuilovitch's friends, colleagues, critics and press come to see new works of the artist. This year about 50 people attended the 149th exhibition called "The time when soul sings" just during its first working hour.

   Shneiderman's exhibitions are very popular. His works are done with high professionalism, virtuosity, using complex water color techniques, beauty and always bright colors. Despite its unchangeable subject of his paintings, Uriy Samuilovitch once more represented landscapes, city landscapes and still-lifes before Almatyners. The artist didn't stop its professional growth. If to compare the present exhibition with the all past ones, it goes without saying that there appeared a green color in the works of Shneiderman that changed golden-yellow coloring. It can be especially noticed in a water color painting "End of summer". Shneiderman makes experiments and it means that he has a lot to say.

   Warmth of paintings that is unanimously marked by critics gladdens the very soul of a person. Possibly exactly that made guests of the exhibition stand and stare at each work for a long time. Namely that is the attractiveness of Shneiderman's watercolors.

   Despite changeable fashion the artist is devoted to his first love - watercolor. It seems that only its lyrical form can tell about feelings, experienced by Shneiderman towards the surrounding world. And even having successfully started to write poems Uriy Shneiderman payed tribute to his passion - his first collection he called "A watercolor and a guitar".

   40 years of work didn't bring world fame to Shneiderman's watercolors, but it gave them a recognition from the side of his contemporaries. Major works of the artist are now in Shardenov museum (Kazakhstan), Rehlov museum (Russia) and in private collections of all over the world.
