A meeting called "In a dance world" was held in Almaty Jewish community center. The meeting, sponsored by the Jewish Republican library was devoted to ballet. It was prepared and held by Olga Shubladze, an assistant professor of Zhurgenev Art Academy.

   Olga told guests of the evening about a well-known ballet dancer Maya Plisetskaya. A unique film and video materials from personal archive of Olga Shubladze helped the Jewish community members to see once more and estimate highly a talent of Maya Michailovna.

  An honored guest of the evening was a writer Uri Mettiu Riuntiu, personally acquainted with Plisetskaya. He thanked the community members for his invitation to the "Rimon"JCC and shared his impressions of his meetings with the ballet dancer and other representatives of a fairy dance world.

Aleksandra Zikina
