lecture from the cycle "History of Jewish Music" was held in
the Assembly of Kazakhstani Nations cinema hall. It was delivered by the
author, the leading Kazakhstani fine arts expert Anatoly Kelberg.
The subject of the lecture was life and creative activity
of Jacques Jacob Eberst, world known as Jacques Offenbach.
"Compositions by the founder of classic musical
comedy still excite the audience", Kelberg explained the interest
of Almaty citizens towards the lecture. "Anatoly Vitalyevitch helps
us remember about the eternal, and he does it imperceptibly with a kind
smile, without thrusting his opinion", comments one of the listeners.
The next meeting will be devoted to songs by Matvey Blanter.
The lectures are held last Thursday every month. Admission free. Anatoly
Kelberg and "Mitsva" Association welcomes you.
