 The
first book of poetry by the Kazakhstan Jewish community photo-reporter
Vladimir Semchuk has been received from the printing house. The pilot
version of "Thoughts Aloud" was published with the support of
"Mitsva" Association and JOODS Humanitarian Fund in 100 copies.
The desire for writing poems came to the famous photographer
about a year ago. In his early forties he does not feel shy when called
a beginning poet. Now Vladimir is inseparable not only with his camera,
but also with a small notebook, almost half full.
Vladimir Semchuk's verbal miniatures are not always as unexpected
as one would like them to be. Though the stream of the author's thoughts
is abundant - he hardly has time to write it down!
