First Former's day was a success in the Hesed in Astana. 8 children, entering school for the first time, took part in the holiday.

   Cognitive games and quizzes, prepared by Marina Zommerfeld, a director of the community center and Alla Chizh, children programs coordinator, invoked vivid interest in children. Each young participant got a present.

  At the end of the evening, to the sounds of Jewish melodies, the children went to the holiday table to taste dishes, cooked especially for them by the members of the Women's club.
