A first forum of Kazakhstani Jews had passed.

   Representatives of 53 populated areas attended the meeting. Forum participants were greeted by Alexandr Baron, the president of "Mitsva" Association; Alexandr Mashkevitch, the president of Euro-Asian Jewish Congress; Fedor Osinin, Euro-Asian Jewish Congress executive director. Iosif Zisels, Mihail Chlenov, Vadim Rabinovitch were guests of the forum.

    The meeting was held in Russian Drama Theatre in Astana. Jews of Kazakhstan discussed questions of further community building process. According to the estimates of the participants, Forum was a success.
