WOMEN'S CLUB
Astana 16.11.04
One of the meetings of women's
club was held in Astana. 15 representatives of the community gathered to
hear a lecture on a subject "I'm a Jewish daughter".
A very interesting story of Olga Kreitchman, a club's leader,
contained a lot of examples from Torah and other Jewish sources and became
a basis for a vivid discussion. Personal recollections and experience of
program members let them look at women's role in a family and community
from another glance.
At the end of the meeting club members congratulated Marina
Zommerfeld, a director of Astana community center on her birthday. Words
of sincere gratitude for the work done by her were sounded in honor of that
wonderful woman.
