Despite snowfall and a strong cold wind, 89 community members in Astana and city Hesed workers gathered in a warm, comfortable, holiday decorated soup kitchen for meeting Sukkoth - a holiday of nature and harvest.

   Holiday candles were lit up, blessing for vine was read and observed a devotion "Netilat Lulav".

  An abundance of fruits and vegetables gladdened all the participants of that merry holiday of nature. During the whole evening one could hear favorite Jewish melodies.

   Winners of a quiz on knowledge of the Jewish Tradition were given memorial presents.

  As always, special joy was given by "Shatil" children's club performance.
