Open Home is the youngest program in the Astana Hesed. It began working only a month ago, but has already won the heart of the community.

   Today the Open Home has 16 clients. All of them are people, who can hardly move on their own.

   A bus provided by a local sponsor takes the clients to the Hesed. Volunteers meet them at the door. Then a lesson on Jewish tradition follows. The lectures and discussions are presented by the religious program coordinator Michael Kreichman.
