 Children
from "Shatil" youth club gathered in the Astana JCC yesterday.
Only six children managed to come because of the cold weather (27 degrees
below zero). But nevertheless they liked Ora Shir's Jewish fairy-tale
about Queen of Sheba's secrets.
After the story, the children were offered to answer a question:
"What do I know about the holidays?"
Everybody
could demonstrate his or her knowledge. Then the children began learning
a poem about Tu B'Shevat and drawing the festive fruits - dates,
pomegranate, grapes etc.
The head of an arts studio Ludmila Ibatulina supported the
children's keenness on drawing and suggested to devote their first lesson
to Tu B'shevat.
Now our children learn the nuts and bolts of drawing together
with a professional painter. We wish Ludmila Ibatullina and her students
good luck!
