A recital of Iosif Breido, a poet, scientist, wonderful person, Hesed "Miriam" chairman was held in the framework of the Jewish Book Community Festival. Jewish community members in Karaganda, Breido's admirers and citizens attended the meeting.

   Iosif Vulfovitch is a person of bright research talent. Within many years of fruitful work he achieved significant results in science and today he is a professor, a doctor of Science, head of one of the leading department of Karaganda State Technical University. One more talent of his is poetry.

  At the exhibition, held at the community center "Shemesh" Iosif Breido told about his life and work. He presented his second collection of poems "Foretell us, a fortuneteller …" to the community members. Breido's poems were recited by the author himself, a librarian Larisa Brodskaya, Rita Serebryanik, children from Youth club.

   Bella Kamenetskaya, a director of Hesed "Miriam" and Galina Korobkina, a coordinator of the Jewish Republican Library took part in the meeting. In memory of OFEK-2004 Iosif Breido presented 2 collections of his poems to the library.
