JDC workers, such as community program coordinator Aaron Weis, his leader Orna Gerling and Alexandr Baron, the president of "Mitsva" Association came on working visit to Karaganda.

  The main aim of the visit was the acquaintance with the community life, Hesed and JCC work. On the first day of the visit the workers of city Jewish organizations and guests exchanged their views concerning methods of work, attraction of new people to the community activities. Further the delegation, together with Bella Kamenetskaya, the Hesed "Miriam" director visited "Warm Home" of Svetlana Aleeva, where in a comfortable atmosphere they got acquainted to the Jews of Karaganda.

   The second half of the day in the JCC was devoted to the literary musical hall, held by a librarian Larisa Brodskaya. In the evening the guests met with Hesed "Miriam" board members.

  The visit turned out to be rich and fruitful for both sides.
