Recently "Haverim" family club of Karaganda JCC "Shemesh"
went to a heath complex "Birch", which is situated in a picturesque
place called "Bereznyaki".
As there appeared a number of new families in the club, everybody
gathered in a spare hall for acquaintance. Both children and their parents
told about themselves with a captivation. Everybody had a fun.
The next day families were offered a program. After breakfast all of them
went to a sporty gym were first was held a limbering-up and then Maccabiada.
Parents and young generation played football and swam in a swimming pool.
After dinner once again everybody gathered in an assembly
hall. Aleksandr Abramovitch told about autumn holidays and word by word
his speech turned into an interesting joint conversation. Children and
adults set questions and Aleksandr answered them in details.
Inna Kozhanovskaya conducted several trainings that helped
family club members to understand deeper a question "What does it
mean to be Jew and community member?". Time had passed almost imperceptively.
Nobody wanted to go back to the city, but children had to
go to school and adults - to work. It was a little bit sad that the trip
came to its end so fast. Participants gained much energy, find a lot of
new friends, and mainly they were convinced once more that community is
a single big family.
