  Presentation
of new books in the Kokshetau Jewish library was held in the Hesed "Natan"
the other day.
In early April the Kokshetau branch of the
Republican Jewish Library received about 20 new books. The purchase became
possible thanks to the money award for the third place in the competition
for "The Best Library Project".
The competition was presented by "Mitsva" Association
in 2003 to support and encourage Jewish libraries in Kazakhstan. Today
the competition's effect is obvious. Firstly, the projects are realized
in Kazakhstani libraries, and secondly, the winners had a chance to purchase
a lot of necessary and interesting books.
