 At
the instance of the Pavlodar JCC women's club members, the religious program
coordinator Oleg Bykovsky will be giving talks about a weekly Torah Chapter.
The club members have gradually outgrown the Jewish family
topics. They are interested not only in the laws of Kashruth, grandmother's
receipts and needlework, but also in Jewish history and Tradition. The
women want to discharge their main obligations - to keep faith in
their families.
After the first lesson Oleg Bykovsky praised his new students
for plenty of extraordinary thoughts and ideas.
"I believe these meetings will soon turn into something
more than mere discussions!" the JCC director Irina Tveritneva
said.
