 Children's
family retreat goes on in Pavlodar. During the first days the children
were preparing to the opening of the children's day center. Everybody
could try themselves in writing a concert scenario. At the children's
request acquaintance tests and tea-drinking were included along with dancing,
singing and sketches.
 In
addition to the ordinary lessons the children also took part in the rehearsals
of the Pavlodar JCC drama studio.
The children spent one of the days in an ice town - they played
active games, tobogganed, and admired the scenery. Then the Hesed "Rachel"
religious program coordinator Oleg Bykovsky told the children about the
main Jewish book - the Torah.
Today the children are going to the museum to watch the exposition
dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Pavlodar oblast. And in the evening
they are going to listen to a lecture on Tradition and to take part in
Kabalat Shabbat.
