 A
ceremony of presenting rehabilitation training equipment to a city board
house for children with locomotorium abnormalities was held in Petropavlovsk.
The equipment was purchased for funds from the American Jewish Joint Distribution
Committee and Euro-Asian Jewish Congress.
 The
President of "Mitsva" Association Alexandr Baron also took part
in the ceremony. He told the mass media about the projects realized in
Kazakhstan by Joint and EAJC.
Several days later most of Petropavlovsk newspapers published
kind responses to the Jewish community's act, and TV channels broadcasted
the news about children mastering rehabilitation equipment.
