Everybody knows that Jews are fond of study science and art. They have literary talent as well. This truth was proved once more by the representatives of Jewish community in Semipalatinsk who organized and successfully held literary contest.

   For recently created Hesed in Semipalatinsk, that literary contest became the first great event. Its aim was uncovering art skills of community members and drawing their attention to the Jewish history and Tradition.

   Love, as well as art, turned out to be wonderful at any age. The youngest contest participant, Masha Eranova, is a first former. As for the eldest poet - contest participant, Flora Kaplun, has already marked its 90-anniversary.

   Judge members highly evaluated works by the community members and awarded memorial presents to the contest participants.

   A high professional level of poems by Olga Zavorohina and Ilya Barohovsky was especially marked, and Masha Drigina's personally attracted the judges as well.
