"Rosh-Ha-Shannah. That has been a funny day.
Since the world's creation time.
But every year it is a new one
And we celebrate it - like for the first time"
This poem by one of the members of the Jewish community in Semipalatinsk
was recited at the youngest Hesed in Kazakhstan at Rosh-Ha-Shannah holiday.
People of different age gathered at one table. They were congratulated
by Hesed director Irina Bryzhahina. Lubov Barohovskaya, "Tradition
Development" program coordinator, told about the meaning of notions,

told the guests about successful children's study of the Tradition. Nikita
Levanov, one of active "Etgar" program participants, recited
a poem "Shana Tova" in Hebrew. One of respectful community members

Strochik and Valentina Manuilova, who prepared favorite Jewish dish -
