We wonderfully spent autumn holidays at our Hesed camp.
Due to a teacher Lubov Barohovskaya we got acquainted with
the basic points of Jewish Tradition, learnt poems and songs in Hebrew.
Elena Volkova, a children's program leader told us about mezuzah, tfilin,
rules of Shabbat meetings. A psychologist Nadezhda Dzhimova held trainings
and interesting exercises promoting a concentration of attention.
Moreover we visited several museums: an Art museum named
after Nevzorov family, a Historical museum of local lore and a Museum
of war fame. Guides told us about the contribution of the Jewish community
in the development of eastern Kazakhstan region as well as about contribution
of our compatriots in a victory over fascism.
After plays and walks on fresh air, dinner and lunch in Hesed
turned out to be especially tasty.
Despite holidays lasted only for seven days, we, camp participants,
became best friends and it means that we'd come to Hesed again and again
with great pleasure.
