"THAT LANGUAGE IS A WONDERFUL ART OF MUSIC"

Shimkent 02.11.04

There were a lot of flowers and champagne at the railway station of Shimkent, and a brass band was playing there as well. Music College of south Kazakhstan met its heroes-winners: 2time laureates of International contest for a prize of Italian city Monteze.

At the international Musical Forum in Italy, Kazakhstan was represented by students of Russian department "Russian national instruments" of Music College of south Kazakhstan - Gulnara Badesh and Serduk Olga and by their teachers-tutors Demchenko V.P. and Grigoriy Golovanevskiy. Namely in the honor of those, who took first prizes in all the performances, was risen the national flag and sounded the hymn of Kazakhstan.

There is no need to introduce Vladimir Demchenko and Grigoriy Golovanevskiy, they are famous enough in musical circles of Kazakhstan.

Grigoriy Golovanetskiy is a community member, a talented musician, an author of musical compositions and mixes for accordion, a laureate of International and Republican contests. He is a very modest and calm person. And a participant of all the activities of South Kazakhstan Jewish Cultural Center.

He was born and grew up in a Jewish family. His father - Grigoriy Leonidovitch Golovanevskiy, an engineer; as it was a usual thing in a soviet period, passed his way from metalworker to a head of a factory shop. He was fond of music - he played mandolin and guitar. New technical equipment and new records immediately appeared his house. As we say, in Jewish nation love to music renders from generation to generation. At soviet times musicians noted that each Jew should have two children: one should play the piano and the other- should play violin. From two children of Grigoriy Leonidovitch only Grisha, named in his father's honor, became a professional musician. And when his father bought an accordion, it was exactly Grisha's intention to study at musical school.

Grigoriy Grigorievitch recalls with deep respect about Konstatin Shtompel, his first teacher. Possibly namely he taught him to be a discreet and modest person.

Being a student of the 4th course of Chimkent musical college, Grigoriy became a laureate of the Republican contest of young singers for the first time. At final examination a chairman of state commission especially marked that promising young man and invited him to continue his education at Almaty conservatoire named after Kurmangazy.

Study at college, first success in art, performance and pedagogical work are connected with the name of Demchenko Vladimir Petrovitch, a talented teacher, graduator of Moscow University named after Gnesinyh, a person that fell in love with music and bayan. Grigoriy Grigorievitch tells about him with gratitude and a deep respect. Joint performances at concerts covers a number of cities of Kazakhstan - Almaty, Kokchetav, Taraz, Turkestan, Kentay. Due to their joint work both musicians got a title of laureate for their performance in the ensemble and for solo program at the International contest in Italy that was held in September of 2004.

We can say a lot of wonderful things about Golovanevskiy. So, for not taking so much time from readers we will make our story shorter and mention only facts and numbers: within 13 years of work in Music College of south Kazakhstan that man taught more that 15 specialists, continuing work of their tutor in different parts of our planet : in Kazakhstan, Russia, Germany, Greece. Names of most of them are well-known enough: Dmitriy Miroshnichenko - a laureate of the Republican contest of young singers in 1998, Rimma Glumova - a laureate of the Republican contest of young singers in 2002, Panayot Sagopulo and Konstantin Cheganov -laureates of the Regional contests in Shimkent, Olga Serduk - a laureate of International contest in Italy.

When Grigoriy had studied at the conservatoire he began to compose music. And today from the stage we can hear his compositions, remixes of Kazakh peoples songs for accordion.

There are so many discoveries and creative plans ahead. So, let everything come true!

And as P.S. we would like to add - a trip to Italy was organized due to the support of Zhilkishiev B.A., akim of south Kazakhstan region and Svetlana Burlachenko personally.
