We, the Jews of Stepnogorsk, can say definitely, that when the Hesed "Natan" began its activities in our town, Jewish communal life started to revive. It is great, because nowadays elderly and disabled people, children and others need to be cared for.

   The first time that the Hesed director Anatoly Itkin came to town, he got acquainted with and talked to all Stepnogorsk Jews. He also did not forget about Jewish widows. After that the Hesed minibus regularly appeared on the streets of Stepnogorsk.

   It is surprising how quickly the Hesed became a part of our life. Now we regularly receive food packages, books, and newspapers. An employee visits our town on regular basis. Not long ago the head of "Homecare" service visited extremely needy clients, and they received bedding.
