 At
their last meeting "Edidot" women's club discussed traditional
Jewish marriage. In Jewish Tradition marriage is considered to be a holy
act and an ideal state, as opposed to celibacy.
At first the women talked about the history of Jewish marriage,
its rules and customs described in Tanah, and wedding rules in Talmud.
After a break the women continued with recollections about
the way they got married. The talk was very interesting and lively, and
the women's recollections were endless.
