Children's Puppet theatre has started its work under the patronage of Hesed "Golda". The head of the theatre is Felix Petrakovskiy, a famous cultural worker of the city, a member of the Jewish community. His wife Valentina Sargizova helps him as well.

   Several weeks running children has been actively preparing to the theatre's opening. The first play was decided to be a fairy tale "Three Pigs" by Sergey Mihalkov. The JDC and Children's Center members took part in a script composing and decoration design.

   Young "Etgar" program participants were also invited to try themselves as artists. Earlier being closed and unsociable, now the children step by step begin to uncover their talents. They were fond of plays with puppets, which can be "alive!" in their hands.

   Rehearsals held two times a week. Children do their best for their play's first night to held at the opening of the Jewish Book Community festival.
