 In
August 2003 "Mitsva" Association started realizing a program
of ecological movement and education for the youth. The Jewish communities
of Kazakhstan took part in the project.
 The
Green Movement tries to explain to the teenagers the importance of solving
ecological problems.
A competition in the best emblem for the youth Jewish ecological
movement has recently started in Ust-Kamenogorsk. The idea
of the competition belongs to the young leaders. Members of the JCC children's
arts school supported the idea.
40 works were presented to the judges and the audience. Young
artists tried to reveal their view of and attitude to the modern ecological
problems.
On behalf of "Mitsva" Association each of the participants
was awarded with a diploma and a prize.
