A character of Sukkoth holiday and all the customs, connected with it, provided it a special place among the Jewish holidays. It's a holiday of nature, a holiday of joy - joy for whole nation, for every family, for every person. That's why preparations for Sukkoth has began in various clubs and cultural programs of Ust-kamenogorsk community center long ago before October 1.

   So, on October 3, a wonderful day 75 Hesed "Faina" community members left the city for a rest base "Emerald".

  On an arrival, all the participants divided into 3 groups and started to build and decorate sukkahs. Beside usual obligations, participants were given one more task - to represent their groups and set questions for other groups.

  It wasn't easy for judge members to choose the best sukkah, as there was something special in every sukkah - something bright and unusual. So, every sukkah got a prize in separate nomination: "the most unusual", "the best presentation", "Jewish warm home".

  Participating in a quiz on history and Tradition of Sukkoth holiday each group demonstrated a high level of knowledge of the Tradition.

   It goes without saying that a concert performance showed by "Zohar" youth vocal group and "Ester" group, was a bright one. A concert program was adorned with the best jewish joke contest and the best Sukkoth dress contest.

  That holiday stayed in a soul and mind of each person.
