In an honor of big Lag B’Omer holiday Hesed "Polina" organized merry activities for its volunteers. The most active helpers of Almaty Hesed were invited to an out-of-town trip to "Nauryz" sanatorium, where they marked the holiday in a very good way. As it is known, it is a custom to lit candles, make fire and to use archery. That time was the same - participants of fun (about 50 people) made fire, lit candles, sang songs, talked. There was also organized a quiz with prizes. In accordance with conditions of the quiz, its winner had to make archery as quick as possible and to let an arrow as far as possible. Victoriya Malinskaya held the quiz very interesting and witty.

  Besides active rest the meeting participants were delivered a lecture about holiday and Jewish Tradition. All this was narrated by a club program coordinator Galina Lipker. Everybody took a great inters in it. Of course, as Lag B’Omer reminds us of heroes, fighting for freedom and independence of Israel, about spiritual tutors, supporting and blessing this fight.

   When it was a time for holiday meal, all the comers were greeted by Hesed "Polina" director Nataliya Dorman, "Volunteer" program coordinator Inna Enina, "Home care" program coordinator Valentina Sokolkova.

  The holiday turned out to be unforgettable like that unforgettable help of volunteers, always ready to stretch a hand of help.
