In the House of friendship of the peoples of Kazakhstan the opening Community Festival of Jewish Book-2005 was stood. In one hour prior to the beginning a holiday of foyer, in which the book exhibition has settled down and there was by the turn a computer presentation “Little Torah”, was already complete of the visitors. The employees and volunteers of Republican Jewish library finished preparation for opening ceremony. Around the turmoil reigned. Volunteers and members of Youth club helped in hanging out of a photo exposition “So we work”, telling about activity of Republican Jewish library.

  Turning fork of the first day of a festival there was a performance of children's chorus "Koktem" created at urban musical school # 1. The guys especially to CFJB prepared some songs on Hebrew and Yiddish. Sonorous, pure voices were spilled under vault of “House of friendship”. After performance of chorus, the visitors CFJB-2005 were congratulated by the president of “Mitsva” Association, Alexandr Baron.

   On termination opening ceremony of a Festival, visitors have been invited in a round hall of “House of Friendship”. One of the main events of CFJB - presentation Grinberg's book “Jews in Almaty”, here was held. At the round table the people known in literary and scientific circles Almaty were going. The director of Republican Jewish library Eugenia Karyakina in an introductory word has wished to the author of the further scientific and creative successes. Then Isaac Grinberg has read the most interesting moments from the book. It is surprising, as far as each line in the book is experienced! It was visible, how looking through pages, author as if experiences of destiny of the heroes.

  - Unfortunately, already almost nobody remembers names of the remarkable people, about which in the book there is a speech.   After performance of the author of the book, the brisk discussion was developed. The participants of a round table with interest discussed idea of creation of similar work, style, in which the book submitted to the reader of the biography of the heroes of a narration was written. And director of children's library named after Begalin (Almaty), Sophia Raeva, has wished Isaac Grinberg to continue to work above the new books.
