41 young Hesed clients have left for the children health camp. The children along with their parents gathered at the Almaty Hesed in the morning. They got in a big bus and set out for the camp accompanied by the head of the Hesed "Polina" Natalya Dorman.
As soon as the children got out of the bus they started running across the playground and playing. Fortunately they were conscientious enough not to run far away. Then they took their heavy bags and back packs (it’s not so easy to live 10 days without parents) and hurried for check in.
As soon as the formalities were over the children dispersed themselves over the camp. Several elder guys asked for a ball and went to the football field. Igor Tsatsyn, one of the children’s guides and the hea of Meals on Wheels program joined them with pleasure. Meanwhile other guys queued up at the ping-pong table. Fortunately the swimming pool was being cleaned that day, otherwise the children could get in it and catch cold, because the day was rather cool.
While the children were playing the adults decided to explore the camp. The dwelling house and playgrounds were clean and well-attended and obviously suited the children. The managers also had a look at the canteen, and it proved to be spacious and light, with comfortable chairs and tables. Those who had visited the camp before were glad to return, because they were well received.
By the way, the ambulance room situated near the dwelling house is open day and night. The children program manager Oksana Shtefan checked all children’s rooms again before departure and left for the Hesed together with other adults. And the children remained to have a happy rest.
