 On Sunday of December 25 the Jews of all world lit the first Hanukkah candle. In many cities of CIS large Hanukkia have decorated streets, parks, area. For example, in Moscow the ceremony of ignition celebratory eight candlesticks was held directly on Manegue Square. And in Almaty large Hanukkia under applause of the townspeople each evening lights up on central promenade street.
In a calendarHanukkah occupies the whole line. And in hierarchy of the Jewish holidays it concedes on importance Shabbat , Yom Kippur, Rosh-ha-Shana (Jewish New year). Though Hanukkah, as any other holiday, is loved by children. How many pleasures bring sweet doughnuts, potato fritters, multi-coloured dreidl and "Hanukkah geld".
According to Tradition, each evening Hanukkah candle establish from the right to the left: in the first evening - one, in second - two etc. Also each time after a burn-out, the fixture is cleared, and the next day in it candles again are established. Last day Hanukkah burn eight basic candles and one, named Shamash.
Per days of a holiday life Jewish Community centres of Kazakhstan will is sated with events. In the majority of cities will pass Hanukkah concerts.
