ATTENTION, AN EXHIBITION!

Almaty 27.06.2005

Every month reading hall of the Jewish Republican library holds a presentation-exhibition, devoted to memorial and important dates of this month. People, preparing this exhibition - are volunteers. Due to this exhibition, which was arranged on a one big stand, library visitors got acquainted with Jewish holidays, birthdays of famous Jews, as well as episodes from life of Israeli nation, connected with the next month.

Books of famous writers and cultural workers, birthdays of whom we would celebrate this month also took a worthy place on that stand. For library readers to be easily oriented in the history of the Jewish nation and the state of Israel, there was put an informational list on the stand, where one could find dates, names and events.

The special place was given to the materials, concerning holidays of a month.

It’s very important that the exposition will be hold in the library during the whole month. Its visitors could turn to the materials again and again. Library volunteers take into consideration wishes of the visitors. And if they hear that people would like to learn more about the coming holiday or one of the authors, they find an additional material, immediately appearing on the stands.

Despite the presentation of a new exposition "July - important dates and events" is to be held in the Jewish republican library only on Friday, already today we are ready to unveil a little secret to you and to tell you several names, which would be mentioned on the exhibition. There you could get acquainted with a life of Frantz Kafka, an oeuvre of Mark Shagal, poems of Igor Guberman…

We invite you to visit the Jewish Republican library and to get acquainted with the exhibition "July - important dates and events".
