Today musical programs of "Rimon" community center is one of the brightest and alive sides of center's life. That's why 3 creative groups are working in a parallel in "Rimon" JCC: children's group - "Anahnukan" and two groups for middle-aged and elderly people - "Nehama" and "Sovlanut". Rehearsals are held several times a week. The leader of all this is a nice, very kind girl - center's musical program coordinator - Olga Dvorkina.

  Moreover there are two sets of lectures. One of them in conducted by a famous musicologist Anatoliy Kelberg on every last Thursday of the month. His lectures are devoted to Jewish composers and peculiarities of Jewish music. Meetings start at 17 p.m. in a cinema hall of a House of Friendship.

  The other set of lectures, which is devoted to musical heritage of Jews, but specialized on work with children, is conducted by a musicologist Anna Sailiyantz. Meetings are held once a month at "Kazakh concert" hall.

  Besides this there are recital meetings with musicians, composers. At clubs and "Rimon" JCC study groups people talk about music with great interest, they share their opinions, impressions.

  And in the nearest future "Rimon" community center plans to create a children's musical group members of which re to sing songs in Hebrew in a modern rap style. "The only thing left is to find a specialist in Hebrew for translating songs and preparing texts," says Olga Dvorkina.
