On the past Sunday the meeting of the children’s club “Shatil” took place in JCC of Astana. On the threshold of holiday of tents workers and volunteers working with club decided to devote meeting to customs and history of Sukkoth.

  Having gathered in Jewish Library, children were listening to Rivka Elitzur’s story “Meeting Sukkoth”. Volunteers read it in roles making reading as mini-performance. Then children went to paint shop and became to build tent models of pressed flowers, grass, twigs of different trees.

  - It can be presented to grandparents who will come to Hesed to celebrate Sukkot ! – children offered to administrative staff – And we can also decorate JCC with these tents in order to let everybody know what holiday if approaching.
