 In the Hesed of Astana Children’s club "Shatil" met Hanukkah. Children were telling about traditions of the Holiday, reading rhymes, listened to the story of Rivka Elitzur "Shimon’s Jar".
Then, director of City Jewish Community Centre Marina Zommerfeld - skilled and attentive teacher - has offered to the members of club to try to make by the hands small Hanukkia of cardboard, clay, wire. The best works decorated Hesed, for pleasure of clients and visitors of charitable organization. And children with pride showed works to the parents, grandmothers, and friends.
Then the club "Shatil" waited a sweet entertainment carefully prepared by the sponsors and volunteers of Hesed. But also on it the surprises were not finished! Each participant of a holiday has received a remarkable gift carefully prepared by Community Centre especially for him - in view of age of the child, his enthusiasms and circle of interests.
- It is surprising, as far as the collective of Hesed and Community Centre well know our guys! Can you imagine, in each gift were favourite sweetness of this child. Each of children received something, that very much - very much for a long time wanted - the grandmother of one of the boys, second year attending tells club "Shatil" - And this one more miracle of Hanukkah!
