Today directors of Hesed and Jewish community center are going to Karaganda together with "Shatil" children’s club members. The first Central Asian Jewish Festival of Children’s and Youth Art called "FREILEHE KINDER" will start tomorrow in that big Kazakhstani city.
It is a unique event, as there hasn’t been something alike before on the kazakh land. Hundreds of children accompanied by workers of Hasadim and Community centers went to Karaganda to demonstrate their vocal and dance talents. Hand-made articles and drawings, created with children’s hands in Hasadim of different Kazakhstani cities, will also be represented in the Festival.
Kids of the capital, like many other Jewish children of the country, have scrupulously prepared to the holiday. As during those two days of Festival one could not only demonstrate one’s skills, but to get acquainted with coevals from all parts of Kazakhstan as well.
