The whole week running "90th anniversary of JDC" movable exhibition of "Mitsva" Association will be working in Astana. This is the second city on the way of the exhibition. The exposition is in a largest synagogue of Central Asia "Beit Rachel". Local Hesed and Jewish community center took part in exhibition’s organization.

  Major part of the exposition is represented by photos, devoted to the history of "Joint" American Jewish Distribution Committee and its work in Kazakhstan.

  Every day a lot of people come to synagogue to visit the exhibition. Most of them are members of city Jewish community and press. It worth saying that Hesed volunteers, working at the exhibition, mark a great number of guests who do not have Jewish roots, but take an interest in Jewish culture and history.
