Karaganda 05.12.2005
 In Karaganda finished working Community Festival of Jewish Book-2005. This year it passed not for one month, as in past years, and during three months. The opening of it coincided with the beginning of city Festival of languages of Kazakhstan peoples. Therefore some measures by the organizers of both festivals were decided to carry out in common. Among them of an exhibition of the books which were taking place in regional museum of Karaganda, in the House of friendship and in Hesed "Miriam" library. Thanks to CFJB, with a literary heritage of the Jewish people the representatives of various national-cultural city centre s have got acquainted, the students local colleges, and it is simple the inhabitants of Karaganda. During all period passed conversations, literary reviews, reader's conferences, literary drawing rooms. At several schools of city the evenings of the Jewish poetry and prose have passed. The students of a musical school got acquainted with the Jewish music. The programs CFJB were visited by the visitors from different cities of Karaganda region.
 In October in the House of Friendship with the large success the evening "Enchanting world of a stage", acquainted Karaganda inhabit ants with the Jewish dramatic art has passed. And the youth theatrical studio JCC "Shamash" showed the visitors of evening performance "Lemel" and "Tzipa".
 Parting chord of CFJB-2005 became game "The Earth of our hope". The meeting has passed on the basis of a general educational complex Or-Avner. The young representatives of the Jewish community of city here were going. To game, in intellectual club "Bikurim" created in the last year at Jewish Community Centre "Shamash" prepared in good time. The guys visited library of Hesed, have read a lot of literatures, participated in literary evenings.
The game for children and youth "The Earth of our hope" consisted of 2 parts. The players were divided into six teams, each of which has received "a routing sheet". The route ran on seven rooms of school, each of which represented this or that city of Israel. In each city of a team received the task and tried to execute it. The guys carried out the sports tasks, solved puzzles, and demonstrated the actor's and vocal skills, the histories and life of modern Israel answered questions on Tradition. The team received for each executed task point.
 After passage of a route all teams gathered in ad lib Jerusalem (in assembly hall). Here passed the second part of game - Competition of the captains. For family the seals ciphered a name of the greatest figure of the Jewish history. Each seal opened by the correct answer to questions of the presenter. Answering on questions connected to life of this man, the captains added to the team points. That is pleasant, the guys without effort have guessed a name Teodor Hertzel. As a prize the winner of game - Xenia Ponkratova - got the book "Great heart", telling about life of Hertzel. Other participants too have got in a gift the interesting books and letters for participation.
During all game the guys not simply fulfilled the tasks and went to the purpose, they were the friends. By all was cheerful and it is interesting. Idea of JCC "Shamash" to unit youth of the Jewish community, to bring together the representatives of various Jewish organizations it managed. The guys are waiting for new joint measures.
