 "Ah, Odessa" under such name in middle of December Karaganda inhabitants will see the new concert program of Jewish Community Centre "Shamash". Idea of creation of the program was born at the employees of the Centre even during work above the script Community Festival of Jewish Book-2005. That time, they planned to hold within the framework of a festival one small literary - musical soiree, which would tell to the visitors of evening about Odessa, its history favourite Odessits and all tourists’ places of city. But during work small evening "as by itself!" developed into the present holiday.
Now "Ah, Odessa" - two-hour concert - walk along historical places of city, with memoirs of the known Odessits -Jews, Jewish jokes and jokes, songs in performance for a long time of ensemble, grown fond to a community, "Ot Azoy".
