The festival of languages of Kazakhstan peoples took place in Karaganda. Children from JCC "Shemesh" actively participated in it. Xenia Komarova read Abay’s poetry in Kazakh, and Nastya Podlikh read them in Russian. With same pleasure audience listened poetry oin Hebrew written by Naomi Shemer.


  Not only poetry was presented on festival. The audience applauded standing for famous duet in Karaganda – Stella Sukhorukova and Alina Dzesa. Girls performed two songs "Tfila" on Hebrew, and "Rabbi Elle Melekh" on Yiddish, language of our grandparents.


  JCC "Shemesh" was awarded with valuable prize, tape recorder, and deed, for participation in festival of languages.
