Kokshetau 21.06.2005
The Hesed "Natan" library literature club has invited Kokshetau citizens to the meeting devoted to famous writers Ilya Ilf and Evgeniy Petrov.
"It’s impossible to understand how we can write together" the authors used to say. Nevertheless in 10 years of their mutual work they wrote such wonderful books as "The Twelve Chairs", "The Golden Calf", "Pure Soul" etc.
The presenters told about the writers’ lives, their spiritual harmony and common literature style. The extracts read by the volunteers Alexandr Rybin and Lidiya Chernyavskaya awakened keen interest of the audience.
