In accordance with the Tradition of the Jewish nation Kostanay Hesed members held meeting of Saturday - Kabbalat Shabbat every Friday. There, in their new office, community members study customs and history of their native nation, listen to Hesed religious program leaders about the Jewish holidays.
During two months running Yuriy Bondarenko and Vladimir Gershun, professors of Kostanay State University named after Ahmet Baytursinov, has been delivered in Hesed a number of interesting lectures devoted to history of Judaism.
A veteran of the Great Patriotic War, an honored citizen of Kostanay, Bertran Rubinshtein also takes an active part in these evenings. By the way, Bertran Iosifovitch will represent our country on Victory Parade that will be held on May 9 in Moscow. It was planned to organize a voyage around cities-heroes before the parade.
And now Hesed members are actively preparing to Purim holiday. With a great pleasure children make attributes for the holiday, different caps and masks. Women’s club members help children in everything.
