Every week at Shabbat meetings members of Kostanay Jewish community learn Torah and content of other holy books on Jedaism. On the threshold of Purim it was "Megilat Esther" ("Esther scroll", telling about the time when the Jewish nation was subjected to a full extermination).

  This knowledge is given in the framework of learning Jewish history and tradition. The lectures and discussions are conducted both by Shabbat participants and professors of Kostanay State University named after Ahmet Baytursinov.

  Recently there was organized a viewing of movies about Jewish heroes and Eretz Israel.
