 A one more meeting was conducted in the framework of a series of lectures called "Jewish history and Tradition". To continue the subject "Jewish Traditional home" there was sounded a story "613 commandments. Laws of Torah scroll and other holy books". The lecture was conducted by Hesed "Rachel" religious program leader Vladimir Handin.
 Vladimir told about a tender attitude of Jews towards the Book. A feeling of deep respect and veneration for holy books as for a concrete personification of national spiritual heritage is one of typical features of Jewish life.
Koran defines Jewish nation as a nation of Book. And this is recognized not only by Islam followers, but major nations of the world as well. Later this statement was given a more wide explanation, reflected eagerness of the Jewish nation to science, knowledge; its love and keen interest both towards its own and world literature.
