 In Pavlodar department of Republican Jewish Library new book "Pavlodarians in Great Patriotic War - 1941-1945"appeared.This book was presented to Pavlodar Community Center by state archive.
There are archival documents created in state archive, of Pavlodar region, Ministry of Defense Central archive of Russia presented in this book, also in archive of RK president. The book tells about heroic feats of Pavlodarians in the years of severe trial.
60 years passed from finishing of Great Patriotic War. There are progressively less participants and eyewitness among us. It becomes more important to keep and to give progeny the memory of that day. And now reading this book, we have an opportunity to touch the history and destinies of the people thanks to heroism of which the planet was saved from fascist pestilence.
In the book Pavlodarians in Great Patriotic War - 1941-1945" presented many archive documents, photos. It tells about such people as: Michael Abramov, Yakov Dvoretsky, Abraham Joffe, Sofya Kozliner, Lev Matzeilik, Iol Reznikov, Ion Soloveichik.
