GOLDEN MARRIAGE UNDER THE

Pavlodar 14.04.2005

Marriage is always a wonderful event, and when it is a golden one in Jewish family, it turns into a big unforgettable holiday for the whole community. The same was in Pavlodar, where one respectable family loved by everybody - Leonid and Faina Svetchinskiy was recently honored.

Golden marriage is an event, which not everybody can boast of. But Leonid Abramovitch and Faina Pavlovna can, and they can not only boast, but become an example of love, happiness, mutual respect for major young families! Loving hearts should have plenty of warmth and tenderness to bring it though years, through all problems and difficulties, and to stand now, in 50 years, holding hands of each other and looking into each other's eyes with love, like it was in the past.

It happened so that a young Jewish family didn't observe a wedding ceremony in accordance with the Tradition of native nation. And now, on their golden jubilee Svetchinskiy family could observe this custom in Astana synagogue in accordance with all the rules. All the guests, who came from Pavlodar as well as Astana community members had a possibility to enjoy the most joyous and happy holiday of Jewish nation. Music had been sounded till dusk and dances didn't leave a single person indifferent to it.

Tradition is alive and everlasting! And everybody, who became a participant of that holiday could make certain of that. Special gratitude is addressed to Rabbi Yuda and Iudit Kubalkin, who hospitably opened doors of synagogue; Rabbi Shmuel and Ionit Karnauh; Pavlodar Hesed and Jewish community center for their organization of that holiday, which will stay in hearts of Jewish community members for a very long time.
