The most merry holiday-Purim- was marked in Rudniy. Though this year spring brings us surprise after surprise: at one time there is a thaw, at another - cold and sometimes there are snow storms, despite bad weather it was comfortable in the room. There one could enjoy Jewish music; songs were performed by sisters Berry, Iosif Kobzon, Aleksandr Rosenbaum. Though it was just a record, their sounds didn’t loose its warmth and closeness.
Having put on carnival dresses, children played, run, had a fun and their faces were shining with a smile. Of course, adults were in high spirits as well.
Svetlana Rybak opened the holiday with her speech - some history of Purim emergency and lots of kind words. Then this pleasant baton was passed to Marina Galanova. She continued the story about peculiarities of the holiday and wished everybody merry Purim.
Both children and adults were listening were attentively to a story
of Larisa Meshaninova, devoted to Esther Queen.
And Lena Sherbatchenko together with Marina Galanova recited poems about Purim
holiday.
There were even anecdotes on the Jewish subject, wonderfully told by Andrusha Meshaninov. Marina Galanova performed solo in a percussion band "Shas spoyu" ("I’m going to sing") under the leadership of Irina Galanova.
Before starting a meal "Shalom Aleihem" was sounded in chorus. Lots of other songs, games and dances followed it.
Everybody liked the holiday. It was just great. Children - contest winners, got prizes. Adults didn’t leg behind them. The most active ones at games and dances were: 76-years-old Lev Liverant, Ivan Sushenko, Lubov Alikulova, Yakov Ryskin and many others.
