As you know Lag B'Omer - Students' Day is celebrated outdoors. Semipalatinsk Hesed members also decided to observe it in their favorite place, Polkovnichiy island.

  It is located between the Irtysh river and its confluent, the Semipalatinka river. Its old trees still remember Fyodor Dostoevskiy and Abai Kunanbaev walking in their shadow. The children had fun shooting from bows (by the way, archery is an obligatory custom of Lag B'Omer). Also they played football, volleyball, badminton.

  Stories about the holiday were followed by a quiz. The winners received tasty awards.
