This year The Day of language culture and customs of Jewish nation was celebrated in "House of Friendship". The guests were met by exhibition of national dishes, and stand with children’s pictures, exhibition of books in the lobby. Books on Judaic, history of Jews, children’s literature, books in Yiddish and Hebrew became the base of the holiday and exhibition.
Deputy Akim of the region, Talgat Beizatov came in order to congratulate the Community. On behalf of the region’s authority he thanked representatives of Jewish Diaspora for their contribution to social and economic development of the region and presented President of Jewish cultural centre Memorable Diploma.
Jewish songs sounded from the stage of "House of Friendship", performed "Freilehs", children’s theatre studio of Shymkent JCC shown sketch "Zolotoy Telets". Then sounded sax and professional collectives played famous "7-40" and "Hava Nagila".
On behalf of Hasadim and JCC volunteers working for the Community were awarded with diploma. And at the end of the concert were raffled wonderful prizes.
