 On day 12 Taraz Jewish community celebrated Independence Day of Israel. Workers of Hesed Jewish Welfare organization told the comers about the creation of Jewish State, about war for independence, hardships, which Israel faced while fighting for its independence, about that great number of human victims of the state.
On the eve of the Independence Day Hesed held a silence minute in memory of Israeli soldiers, who sacrificed their lives in the name of their nation and country. And that day community expressed solidarity with families of 14 thousands of Jews, who died in Arab-Israeli wars.
